What we do?

We employ a holistic development approach involving physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being to transform vulnerable communities’ lives. Our team desists from understanding poverty as a mere deficit framework. We aim to provide existential, technical, and physical support in combination with a response to people's need for a relational recovery towards holistic well-being.

Our Work Experience

  • Emergency Response – we have supported local organizations and connected them with international support mechanisms in times of emergency by identifying funding opportunities and designing project proposals.
  • Education – we have developed curriculums, trained teachers, and supported local organizations to plant, initiate, implement, and execute educational projects for marginalized communities, including refugees and internally displaced people in conflict zones.
  • Public Health & Mental Health – We have conducted TB DOTS training for medical officers, school health, and nutritional supervisors (organized by WHO Global Fund) to increase the case detection rate and enhance public health management procedures. We have also established effective monitoring and evaluation systems and have engaged in several campaigns to eradicate polio from Pakistan. Moreover, we have previously convened UNICEF training on breastfeeding and established feeding corners in several health districts.
  • Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) – we have developed and implemented government-certified TVET programs in Thailand (for refugees) and Myanmar (for ethnic and IDP communities), including life Skills and entrepreneurship training. We have provided monitoring and evaluation mechanism throughout the project to measure the social impact.
  • Entrepreneurship Development – We have researched, promoted awareness, and developed entrepreneurship programs for marginalized communities.
  • Food Security & Livelihoods – We have developed and implemented projects in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar by employing a farmer-led participatory approach. We conducted monitoring and evaluation throughout the projects.
  • Gender Equality, Inclusion & Protection – We have designed and conducted gender studies in Myanmar and Sudan and trained local staff (training of trainers) to conduct gender introductory training for various ethnic organizations and government departments.
  • Conflict Analysis & Peacebuilding – We have conducted four studies (2018-2021) for an INGO in Central Myanmar, Delta Region, and Southeastern Ethnic areas to identify and analyze conflict potential, conflict drivers, and connectors. We also evaluated a peace-building project.
  • Organizational Development – We have engaged in strategic planning and tailored capacity building for local organizations, including policy design. We also supported local organizations in building strategic partnerships with INGOs and donors.
